From an organizational standpoint, there's this is a team that doesn't ever really have knee jerk reactions.
They're certainly not going to have like a knee jerk reaction, at least I assume after a year where they had basically the best year that they could possibly have without actually winning at all.
I think that like there just is not, to me, that much pressure on anyone in a leadership position because I really don't think anyone's job is on the line.
I think that there's still enough of that like afterglow of the World Series that even if the vibes are bad, like...
the vibes are not as bad as they were in like 2020 uh 2024 um when it was like kind of disappointment after disappointment not making a run in the postseason not winning a game in the postseason and then coming out and thinking like okay this is the last year or one of the last years we can make a run and then completely falling out of the race pretty early so
Yeah, like maybe Varshow just because it's like, as you say, he's not having a great walk year.
He's in a contract year.
Like, I think that's who I would identify because I just don't know that anyone else.
Vlad probably just like reputational wise, like probably does not want to end this season with the stats that he has.
But as you say, like he's got his money and he's got his contract and everything.
If he goes on and has a great career and this is a one-off, then it's just going to be looked at that as a one-off.
So perhaps there's some pressure on him just to turn things around so that the doubts can go away and that it eases the pressure for next year in some regard.
Because if he ends this year at sort of the state that he's at now, there's going to be a ton of pressure on him next year.
And everyone's going to be asking all offseason, what happened to Vlad?

Yeah.
Maybe I would throw him in that in the sense of like just, yeah, it's not about career or money, but it's sort of about like reputation and not having to like live with this like cloud of like doubt over you for a whole off season.
