I'm deciding right now as I'm talking.
I'm giving it to Corbin, I think.
I talked myself into it.
Was that the way you were leaning?
Yeah, a really nice mix from him.
As you say, he was getting a lot of swing and miss.
I mean, he got more swing and miss than Paul Skeens.
And again, that was not something that we were expecting heading into this game.
and out out dueling him in almost every way in almost every category and and and that's a credit to the Blue Jays offense as well I mean I think they helped Corbin look good by the way that they were able to approach schemes and the way that they were able to rack up the hits and keep the line moving a little bit but yeah Corbin deserves all the credit today really his best starting start of the year and you know maybe similar to the Blue Jays maybe he's
gaining some momentum now too.
He's getting obviously more comfortable.
He was a guy that really was just dropped in on this team.
As you say, he came off the couch for a million dollars, which that's a nice little incentive.
But that is something that's tough to do.
He didn't really get a spring training.
He was basically auditioning for
for a role on this team uh mind you a team that's coming off a world series appearance so like you know there's some pressure in that and he's really proved himself he really has looked good i know last year was a step in the right direction for him and it looks like he's kind of continuing with that this year as the blue jays have given him an opportunity at the major league level so there you go patrick corbin our player of the game brought to you by capital one
Oh, definitely.
And I think, yeah, the nice thing about the offense today was that
Yes, they were reminiscent of what they looked like a lot last year, and that included getting home runs, so getting, you know, doing damage.
