Obviously, George Springer starts the game off with a leadoff home run, something that he's done many, many times in his career.
To go back to something we were talking about before the game, George Springer looking more and more and more like himself.
Now, look, he set a really, really high bar last year with what he was able to do.
I mean, he was one of the best hitters in all of baseball last year.
But in this year has not gone the way that he wanted to.
Combination of a slow start and injury.
But today, he looked really good with the home run, also hitting a double.
And that is off the back of yesterday's game.
And just lately, he's just looked really good.
But yeah, the Blue Jays as a whole, they were getting timely hits.
They were working long at bats.
They were...
doing damage they were yeah like hitting the ball over the fence hitting doubles getting those timely moments timely hits and all that kind of stuff and and you know some some good calls on their side or some luck on their side if we talk about the non-strikeout call on Sanchez and and you know what it
they talked about it a lot on the broadcast.
Yeah.
I mean, it didn't look like he checked a swing.
He, he got the call.
Uh, and look, you, you make the most of those opportunities, you know, if, if, if, if a call goes your way, then, you know, take advantage of that.
And he, he,
He was able to do that.
