And I think yesterday, you know, they took advantage of some mistakes on the Pirates side.
And today you just kind of you just played really clean, crisp baseball for the most part.
Yeah.
Yeah, I know.
And that's a good thing for the Blue Jays, honestly.
If they were going to get off to a slow start as they did, this was the year to do it.
I mean, it's tough in their own division because the Rays, you know, one of the few teams that have just taken off and they're the best team in the American League.
So tough for the Blue Jays in terms of trying to, you know, reclaim the division again.
But in terms of keeping...
within the wildcard fight you know it's a good thing for them because everyone's kind of really clustered there uh in that wildcard race and the blue jays even being below 500 although they're they're inching closer to uh that 500 mark uh you know for uh it's been a few times a season where they've gotten close and and it feels like momentum's on their side i don't want to jinx it but
But yeah, for them, they are probably somewhat relieved that the American League has been pretty mid this year, with the exception of, you know, unfortunately, the Rays.
But, you know, even the Yankees, they've been up and down and the Blue Jays have been playing better than the Orioles and the Red Sox for the most part.
So they've kind of nestled right in the middle of the American League East.
And they are right in the thick of a very, very clustered right now wildcard race.
Yeah, well, and there's also Tommy Nance, potentially.
Yeah, I mean, look, you know, the Blue Jays have made tough DFA decisions already this year.
We look at a guy like Eric Lauer.
Like, he...
He was a hero for the team last year and really did not get off to a good start this year and was struggling.
And the Blue Jays had to cut him loose, the DFA.
