First of all, and most importantly, he's talked about what this year has meant to him, and he called it his first real adversity in his career.
this injury, the slump he's in, the first real adversity.
And he also said it's the longest, quote, up and down stretch of his career.
What he's learned from that was how rehab really works.
He's never really been injured, so he never had to go through it.
Gives him an appreciation for guys that have done it.
What injured players go through, how quickly confidence can disappear, which to me is an acknowledgement of something we have talked about on the show, that he had lost his confidence and was playing a little shook.
And then how to refocus mentally
I think guys deny things when they're real and acknowledge them when they're conquered.
And I feel good that he actually came out and was like, yeah, man, this is the toughest year of my career.
I'm learning a bunch of things.
And my confidence went away.
But what I also learned was how to get it back.
I actually feel like that's a good, and he has been playing well.
I actually kind of, watching it, I go, you know what?
I don't think he would have said that a month ago.
I think he's been swinging up, man, for a while.

they are playing better i think they are on the up and up and i think with that christian brown will look better i do find that irony though in him talking about lack of confidence ups and downs and refocusing mentally to cam johnson and this was recorded i'm pretty sure a couple days ago so before the most recent games i'm is my hunch probably when they were on this homestand and it's just kind of funny to me you know kind of interesting um
