We were working in a space of cybersecurity, like me and my co-founder, we've been in cybersecurity for a combined 40 years.
And we realized that the AI adoption is happening so quickly.

When we were advising businesses on the AI part, bringing them to their business, we were seeing there's a lot of control for missing.
The things you used to do with the typical cybersecurity tools, those tools were not good enough when an AI come and play a role.
And we realized there's a whole new set of tools need to govern and secure AI products and tools.
And that's basically where Sector8 come into existence.

We did a lot of R&D and we still do a lot of R&D in this space.
As part of my ongoing PhD in AI security, we do need to understand what's happening in the academic world.
But also from an event perspective,
When we see people, especially the businesses, are moving from a simple chat bot and chat GPTs to a genetic space, we realize the risk parameter has gone way bigger.
It is not just about putting a prompt and getting an output anymore.
you have agentic space where they are working with each other, taking the actions.
And that's where we realized that we need to have governance and security around the agentic space.
And that's basically where Sector 8 kind of born.
Yeah, so rules of the game change where these agents now have access and control to tools.
