The first time I've ever seen my dad in prison was in prison.
The first time I ever had to meet my dad was in prison.
My dad goes to prison.
My mom's left with a three-month-old, a five-year-old, and a 10-year-old little boy.
And she's like, what do I do?
So my mom just works.
Again, my mom's working six to seven days a week.
Non-stop.
I know that she worked that much because she had to provide.
But I also sometimes wonder, did my mom work so much to numb everything?
You know what I mean?
Did she work so much to get away from everything?
I'm not sure if she'll ever even answer that question either.
You know what I mean?
Because I don't I don't know if she even still knows that answer.
But the first memory I have of going to the prison is.
was pretty, pretty crazy.
Very scary.
