The reason we're called full stop is because we want a full stop end violence.
You know, we want a world free of violence and we believe that we could make we could have that.
Firstly, we support people who are victim survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.
We provide community education and training to try and change community attitudes, and we do advocacy to change.
Laws, policies, and resource allocations to ensure that people who've been subject to sexual assault, domestic and family violence get what they need and are treated appropriately.
So we will work across those three things.
We run four national four helplines, three of which are national.
So we run the 1-800 full stop, is sort of our main line, and it's available to anyone in this country who's been impacted.
by sexual, domestic and family violence, whether they're a victim themselves or they're the family, friend, colleague, someone who's working with a victim and needs support.
And we do we deliver that 24-7 through 1-800 full stop.
I think it's one of the hardest things is how we talk about this.
Like I do a lot of media and I'm often really conscious that when I'm talking about people who have died from domestic violence homicide or their family members, that you gotta kinda gotta think that those people might be listening.
And I feel like often in the conversation, people don't count them in.
They just talk about like
Like these people as if they're sort of disembodied, you know, not part of the conversation, and they really are.
I feel like a lot of journalists are struggling with it, to be really honest, and often don't know how to do it sensitively.
