I live in a very old house here up in Connecticut and I'm renovating it.
I haven't demolished it because I would lose the historical part of the house if I just demolished it and built from scratch.
I would then have a modern house in regards to it.
But if I actually renovate it, which is what we are doing in it,
We're still keeping the historical footprint of the house with all the historical features, but we're putting in the modernization that families expect of today in a house.
And the same comes into modernization of your infrastructure.
You need to identify what do you need to modernize to enable yourself to continue to be in presence.
Digital first is a major area that I think a lot of banks are now looking at.
And they're looking at,
Um, legacy systems are 30 years ago.
Now some of them can't do ISO 2022.
So yes, right.
To modernize with regards to that, because that is the directional future for us.
But there are services that you, you build out in regards to that potentially is you don't need to, or you may have to put like a layer on front of it in order to help you with regards to it.
So like your data of your, of your client base, for instance, do you need to modernize that and rip that out and start again, your core application?
There are many different areas within, I think, the ecosystem of payments that I think generally banks need to look at strategically.
What is it that I'm trying to achieve from my modernization?
And where does that come into play?
And what do I need to change from the IT infrastructure?
