interested in is finding ways that the community and the university students can collaborate and learn to use each other as a resources.

Um I feel like we've got a very, you know, experienced and collaborative community with a ton of interest.

you know, associations, businesses, uh hobbies, uh involvements, and things like that.

And the university students come here

Beyond that, they go out into the community at large once they graduate and they're representing the community of Santa Clara and they have very, very fond memories of their time in Santa Clara.

So they're excellent representatives and liaisons for our city.

So the more we can get them involved with our residents and the more that we can get our residents involved with them, I think they benefit from that and our and we benefit from the experience of understanding what their um experience is like, what their issues are and things, we can bring that to the table more effectively.

So I'm really interested in finding ways that the university and the community can collaborate together.

Um you know, I've been thinking a lot about like what kind of some of the issues are and things and and why that might benefit our community.

I really do believe that Santa Clara students are some of the most respectful university students that we could have asked for.

These are students who are very dedicated, who are very passionate about being, you know, strong members of communities, uplift living up to certain standards and ideals.

And I want to be sure that they have a fair shake and a fair voice within the community, within the local community as well.
