Sonia, that to me is one of the best parts of going to the farmer's market is when you notice something that someone has or someone notices what you have and you know you start to exchange recipes and menu ideas and all these things.
And I think just for anyone who's never had a a squash blossom or zucchini blossom, we're really talking about the flower of the plant.

I mean, I think you really are describing a moment of the summer.
And one of my favorite cookbooks that I've shared on here before is called Vegetables Every Day by Jack Bishop.
I had tasted zucchini blossoms at a restaurant when I moved to Los Angeles.
And I think I've had versions where it's ricotta or it's goat cheese with like a little bit of garlic, maybe some herbs.
It's very simple.
But the way he describes it in the book is that you gather your people around.
The frying pan, and you throw them in, and then you kind of pull them out and let them cool just enough.
And so, this idea of you handing your beautifully fried zucchini blossoms over the fence to your neighbors so that they could experience the magic of the zucchini blossom.
It's totally different than eating zucchini in any measure, and it's so decadent, but it's a moment that you're getting for yourself, even on
a weeknight.
It didn't actually take that long.
