So I decided to kind of go searching for like what do I want to make with plums, what do I want to make make with apricots, and I came across that extremely famous Marion Burroughs plum tort recipe.
I've never made it before, and so decided to make it.

Yes, this is the number one recipe of all times in the New York Times.
They published it in 1983 and then they published it for like 10 years.
And then when they stopped publishing it, people revolted.
And so they just publish it every summer now.
You know, I think one of the things that they talk about is that one of the reasons why people don't like to see it published is that they publish it when plums are in season, which is kind of usually toward the end of the summer.

Well, because it's a sign of the end of the summer.
I feel very passionate about this recipe.
It's what is really what they talk about in the recipe on the New York Times, which we will link.
And one of the other things that I really appreciated it as someone who has never made this very famous recipe.

It's a very forgiving recipe.
