winter tomatoes are notoriously terrible, but even a cherry tomato in the winter is so much better when you come feed.
As someone who thinks about helping my son learn how to eat and learn how to eat seasonal produce, how to eat vegetables, how to eat fruits, being able to repeat that idea over and over again, that's also a gift to myself and it's a gift to him.
It's a gift to the ease of the kitchen and also teaching him how delicious different flavors can be out in the world.

I was the same.
I had heard about it.
And I actually heard about it through like a parenting book where it talked about how in France, this is a recipe that a lot of this is where a lot of kids learn how to cook.
This is like they get their yogurt container and they measure this way.
And I loved that idea.
I just never really explored it until you brought it to our conversation immediately when you shared this.

I've made this, I can't even tell you how many times I've made this cake now.
I do bake a lot and I share a lot in my son's school community.
And the amount of times when people are like, oh, you've got that cake again.
It just makes me laugh.
It really is so forgiving and it frees as well.
You can stick it in the freezer.
And when you're like, oh, I'm going to so-and-so's house for brunch, I can take this for them.
Or someone has invited me for dinner.
