So we'll just chuck you in there.

And they didn't move me out of wing defense for that rest of the trial.

So I was like, great, I see an opportunity here.

So I went back to the polls.

We had this discussion about what that was going to look like.

And they're like, okay, we're going to try and make you a wing defense.

And so that following year, I started getting my starting line up at wing D. And yeah, the rest is history from there, to be honest.

This could have been the beginning and the end of your... Honestly, I felt this was the end.

I was like, this is me.

I'm done.

Adrenaline pumping, inexperience, playing against a very experienced player.

I didn't feel like the send-off was necessarily bad enough, or what they sent me off for was bad enough, but I knew the situation that got me to that point.

Prior to the game starting, the umpires did tell us that if you're on a warning, you have to be extremely careful.

And so, yes, the warning was warranted.

I probably went for a ball I shouldn't have gone for.

I wasn't playing rugby, I was playing netball.

And so I was on the warning, and that's where the discipline comes in, the experience come in, and I just jumped a pass, and Jo Harton stepped into me to pass the ball, and obviously I landed on her.

So that cost me my send-off, and it was...

the fastest and the slowest two minutes of my life.

I had to go sit on the beach for two minutes and watch the rest of my team try and fight it out there with six players on court.
