reminding me that what I have done, how far I have come, and how good I am, because I'm always downplaying things that I do, and I started this, or I try, Jay Galdard, he started this Itutangata concept about tall poppy syndrome, and
that we're too humble sometimes.
And I come from a history of, I hate cockiness and arrogance.
I cannot stand it.
um and but it's that fine line of acknowledging when you are doing well and being proud of yourself and celebrating that and so that's what I'm trying to work on myself a little bit more is celebrating myself and being proud of myself a little bit more rather than always like downplaying or being harsh on myself and my sister's been really good that voice in the background for me because I know they'll be very open and honest with me when I'm not doing something well or when I need to be better
So coming from them that support and being like, no, you are doing really well.
Don't be so down on yourself.

I think that it's pretty much a thing here, but I love that about New Zealand as well.
I love the humble side.
It's just having that fine line of being humble, but celebrating the good things as well.
And I think that's where...
That's where I would like to see it go, is that we do celebrate.
And not just ourselves, but each other.
And I think that's more important, because if you get that celebration from others, you're more inclined to do it for yourself, too.
You don't want to be that person and be like, oh, I'm so good, or I'm doing this.
But when the people around you are doing it for you, you'll be like, oh, yeah, having that.
