It could be population dynamics and indeed you could argue as a physicist, all physics, including the physics of sentience and the physics of consciousness, is just a um a statement of probabilistic dynamics.
It it you know, uh so you don't need to actually um
Simulate the every element of an ensemble over which you have a probability distribution, you just needed to simulate the functional architectures that describe the density dynamics, the probability density dynamics.
And I put it like that because you can always reduce any functional architecture to a graphical model.
And it's just the connectivity and the architecture of that graphical model that I was implying.
brain when uh yeah when I talked about sort of um uh functional anatomy.
One final point just again to sort of um
reiterate to um Mark's point.
Um
The the the the the well
Perhaps we'll come back to this, but you know, I was trying to sort of pick up on Anil's um arguments uh and amplify them in a way that I thought he would be pleased with.
Um and I d I didn't spot the biological aspect too much, but I what I did spot was the commitment to um in memory processing and mortal computation.
So I'm not saying the substrate has to be carbon-based.
I'm what I'm saying is that the the stuff in and of itself has to do the computation.
And that becomes very relevant when we're talking about von Neumann architectures and in memory processing, such as say with memoristas or photonics.
So I'm going to put that on the side.
I think that's something we might have to come back to because when I talk about mortal computation, and when people like Alex and Jeff Hinton talk
About mortal computation.
We're not talking about biological neuronal networks, we are talking about the functional architectures that render the substrate locally doing the computation.
And it could be, I repeat, say say memristas.
