To feel is to palpate.
So what we're talking about is a gain.
something that is quintessentially inactive and agentic.

If you're a psychologist it would be called attention.
If you actually have to build in the spirit of Feynman a machine that has attention, hence my reference, um possibly um um disingenuous reference to attention heads.
