People say it's impossible for a start.
There's one newspaper paper that says you might as well propose a trip
from the earth's surface to the moon and back by telegraphy, or from London to Rangoon by submarine.
You know, it's just seen as it's just seen as madness.
But it's also seen as a kind of slightly cheap trick by Le Matin to kind of sell newspapers.
They're sort of saying, you know it's going to fail, you know that cars won't be able to do this, so it won't look good for cars.
So you're just doing it
to sell newspapers.
So it's really scoffed at.
And really even people who are very pro car, even kind of, you know, car magazines, really don't like the idea initially because they think that it will be embarrassing for the car because the car will fail and therefore it will set the car back.
But we would not really think about it as a car now.
We'd sort of think about it as like a motorbike or maybe even a scooter with pretensions.
But it's like a little tiny, tiny, tiny three wheel vehicle called a Contal.
Some reason.
It's it's ridiculous.
It's only got six horsepower.
It's like an underpowered hotel hairdryer with wheels.
An Italian prince by the name of uh Scipione Borghese.
So he comes from a really old and very wealthy, famous Roman family.
And their name still kind of lives on.
