I think we talked about this last time that they were also monopolizing like Wi-Fi, providing Wi-Fi internet services in smaller towns for the most part.
They're not doing this in like major cities, but yeah, smaller towns they'll go and they'll cut the Wi-Fi wires.
In small towns in Mexico too, it's not like wireless.
And so they're going cutting it up, putting up their own and then going door to door and being like, now you're gonna pay me and I'm gonna provide you the Wi-Fi.
Crude oil, we spoke about, that's a big one.
And here's the thing.
Because sometimes I see people say, well, you know, we have to end the demand for drugs in order to end the cartels.
That's a complete fallacy because it doesn't matter whether drugs exist or not if they are profiting off of almost every good or service that they can take to the black market and make it profitable.
Because crude oil...
is not a black market good, right?
It's what makes the world go round.
But when these guys are tapping into state-run pipelines in Mexico, stealing the crude oil and then driving it across the US and selling it to, you know, mom-pop refineries for... half the price than if they were to purchase it legally, that becomes a black market... good.
The avocados, same thing.
And, you know, that's been going on for ages.
But that's also because of the region in which, uh, avocados grow in Mexico, in Michoacán.
It's a major cartel hotspot.
And actually, just a few months ago, the U.S., like, momentarily
stopped the avocado import-exports from Michoacán because of how extreme the cartel violence had gotten and how so many of the local farmers and agriculture producers were under extreme threats of their lives and of their livelihoods.
And it's really sad.
And I'm not sure if I said last time, but you know,
