Not cyclical 'cause you don't get to exactly predict it, but like you really have to you have to believe in joy.
Like you have to imagine that you're the kind of person.

And if you look at the definition of happiness inside of the health and wellness industry, you're gonna get a very
intense view of what it takes for especially like a middle aged lady to have a good life.
I'm gonna have to have breathing practices.
I'm gonna have to have rhinoceros sized water bottles.
I'm going to have to have my gratitude.
That's right.
It's fully a story of um optimization with verily like very poorly repackaged social science with small incremental
um benefits.
Yeah.
And but I I think what's really disturbing about it, and this is what Miroslav Wolf calls like the happiness tangle, is if they offer you a million small correlations between studies that say, you know,
Stare into your partner's eyes for an extra five minutes and your your your marriage will last five years longer.
You add a million of those.
What you've now convinced people is, oh my gosh, all this happiness homework is going to take eight hours a day alongside my regular workday.
