So why would I go for a hybrid over something like AFI, which is diversified shares paying a dividend or just a bond portfolio?

In the case of bonds?

Because you could end up having shares in a bank, a worthless company if something's going wrong.

Yeah, so if people want to go and find companies in Australia that do have an income yield, I don't know what terminology, that do pay a dividend, where would you look for that?

I'm sure you've seen many people come to you just with like five different dividend stocks in your portfolio and that's it.

People that have owned CSL for the last decade or so.

The capital gains to sell some of those positions that they've been holding for three decades.
