Yes, although I actually didn't manage to read all of the Ema McBride, but I still wanted to bring it along because, now this is the Irish writer whose first novel, A Girl is a Half-Formed Thing, was published in 2013.
Her other novels are The Lesser Bohemians, which is really the book that comes before this one.
She also wrote Strange Hotel, which I remember reading for a discussion on the bookshelf.
So The City Changes Its Face is just out, but I have an agenda here.

pain and bodies, and I actually think she does it in ways that are quite astonishing.
She also does something very interesting on the page.
Her work often is fragmentary and poetic, and I've only managed to read about 20 pages of this new one, and instantly there is that
