And now to the latest on the upcoming ABC Radio National's Top 100 Australian Books Countdown, which is being held later this year in October.
And this time we're hoping to find the nation's favourite Australian books of all time.
It's so hard and it's great to have other people's perspective on it.
I mean, partly they'll remind you of books that you might have read and had forgotten about or things that you'd always meant to turn to.
And then there's just that great thing about hearing about books that you didn't know anything about.
Yes, he's just had a new poetry collection out in May called No Hiding from the Woman in the Moon, which is, among other things, a celebration of the moon, of life and of love.
Well, great to hear from Bruce Pascoe, especially as it's NAIDOC week.
And hopefully he's got you thinking about your best Australian books of all time.
So you'll be ready when voting opens on Monday, the 31st of August.
We're here to talk books, to review new fiction, and you'll be astonished to hear to have a few opinions.
So to begin, let's introduce everybody.
So BJ just won a prize for a short story in Kill Your Darlings and also with us on stage is Hannah Kent who was the co-founder of that particular literary journal.
Hannah Kent, as I'm sure you all know,
is a novelist whose books are Burial Rites, The Good People and Devotion, and her memoir, Always Home, Always Homesick, which I could not put down.
I had other books I was supposed to be finishing, but I could not look away from this beautiful memoir.
