Interesting paths to how books are made.
My day-to-day uh it really depends.
I am wrapping up right now being the co-author for a chef named Esther Choi.
Her book is coming out this fall.
Um, she just had a new YouTube Food Network show called Cooking with Choi that just launched, and so it's really talking about how she got to be where she is today.
And the book is really also about her grandmother.
So, right
Right now I've been in the throes of finishing up page proofs for that book before it goes to the printer so it can be in stores this fall.
And I'm also have been working on a single subject book all my own with 10 speed press that's all about dips.
That's not the name of it, because that would be copying Molly Stevens who wrote all about brazing and all about roasting and all about dinner.
Um but it is kind of all about dips.
Um so just balancing that out and then doing freelance contract work for
for just clients and um that's kind of I guess how the sausage is made.
Book find its audience.
And I would say just a backstory of how I got into publishing.
I was a line cook at A16 and uh it was 2004.
The restaurant was new.
