Yeah, I think, to your point, it's going to be an interesting game.
If they were to lose, I think the pressure will absolutely be almost insurmountable on Brad Scott, considering who Richmond have.
Not saying that I think they will lose the game.
I think they will win and should win comfortably.
I think...
You've got to be accustomed to a team like Essendon in this season to seeing their form ebb and flow.
They played a couple of very good weeks, so they beat Melbourne and then were much improved for a period of a couple of games and then fell away again.
And I think if you're an Essendon fan, I think you probably...
willing to accept that in some way as long as you can see the growth and the progress.
And I think the games that they do play well and do bring the pressure and do sort of apply the things that they're asked to, they actually play some good football in patches.
But do you know what the brand is?
I struggle to identify what they're...
I think their come forward defence has improved a lot this season.
Like that game against Melbourne, you could see they were trying to implement that come forward and pressure.
But the first three or four rounds, it was really hard to tell, you're right, Jay, what they were trying to do.
But when they've started to get that right and actually implement a defensive system like that.
But when you do try and implement a system like that, if you're coming forward to defend and the player that's next in line is half a step off or not quite on their game, you can leak some very big points.
And that's what they've done on occasion.
And I think you've just got to accept that there's going to be weeks where they play some good football and there's going to be weeks where they play some pretty poor football as well.
I think the point that they've made this season to actually concede that they are rebuilding is the first step.
