I love hearing like the synopsis of how other people perceive it.

Yeah, perfect.

So I'm Kate, for those who don't know me.

I've been in the fitness industry since 2018, but originally I'm a qualified nutritionist.

So I actually started kind of my whole health and fitness journey or getting interested into the space.

After high school I went straight to uni and I did a science degree majoring in nutrition.

And then from there, I was very lucky to get into a clinical nutrition role where that's kind of where it all started for me.

But I, at the same time of doing that, kind of fell out of love with working in more of a clinical sense.

I just didn't see that that was going to be my forever job, if I'm honest with you.

But I also, in the same breath, never wanted to own my own business.

I had no desire for that.

I had no understanding of what it would take to own a business.

So I decided on the side to start studying my cert three and four in fitness.

And then in 2018, I got qualified and I started working on the gym floor.

So I w walked in on my first day, no experience, no clients, $300 worth of commercial gym rent hanging over my head with no idea how I was going to.
