Something I said actually at the live podcast event that we just ran in Melbourne,
was about falling in love with the journey, which I know I just quickly spoke about before, but I really do believe that if you are long-term goal focused or long-term vision focused, but you can also fall in love with the journey along the way,
it is a lot more enjoyable for your mental state.
If you are only fixated on the end goal and everything that you do in the process is quote unquote not good enough because you haven't achieved that goal just yet because that compounding effect hasn't come into fruition,
Why would you, like, you're going to hate the whole process versus when you, and I'm going to just speak to business really quick, when you can fall in love with the journey of building business and know that you are going to cop L after L after L before you get a W, a win, and you fall in love with that process, it makes the whole journey difficult.
20 times better for you mentally.
And it also means that then every time you're in the shit and you're not successful or achieving something, you have a really great story to tell when you are successful and you have achieved everything.
So stop trying to skip the shit, we always say, and fall in love with the journey and the process of getting the reward at the end of it.
Because that's like the major part, right?
It's actually insane.
And really good point that you made.
Sorry, just circling back one more time because honestly, I feel like- We love a circle.
We love a circle back.
And the listeners, you guys really need this to be drilled into your brains.
You cannot expect to get a result in four weeks, six weeks, eight weeks, even 10 weeks if you have spent the last 30 years with shit habits, poor lifestyle choices, and not doing anything to prioritize yourself.
That is diabolical behavior.
And I watch a lot of people come into coaching, decide to want to do better for themselves and crack the shits after four weeks.
I haven't lost a kilo per week.
It's like, okay, but do you think it took you
10 weeks to gain 10 kilos?
