Something that my brain, I don't know if anyone listens to this who's like, okay, Gemma, you're psychotic.
But if anyone else can relate, like I need to have black and white roles in my head.
I need to know like I can't read your mind.
I need to know are we agreeing to this?
Cool, I'll do this till the end of time.
But I need to have it written out.
Otherwise, it's this like unknown and I don't know if I'm doing the right thing.
That's how I operate.
So when we started the potty and Kate was like, let's do the podcast.
I was like, yes, as long as we can have an oath.
And you're like, okay.
let's go and essentially the oath was like nine to ten things that were like okay if we have a conflict this is how we like get through it if we voice an opinion this is how we do that and it was just these like clear things and when you're going into any kind of business and we've done this for business and other things but whenever you go into things like this transparency is
is going to go so far because it's just this like unwritten rule that we're like, this is how things work and it works really well.
And I really, really love that.
Now, in terms of the hats, because we also are best friends, podcast, business, all of the things, sometimes we literally will do a Zoom call talking about business and then we'll be like, okay, we're done with this.
And we'll literally like take your business hat off and we will...
we're actually nerds and then we take it off and then we just talk shit and I love that but I think the best summary of how to balance everything is one clearly defined like roles or clearly defined like communication styles that we kind of agree upon and then two I think balancing it all and really open communication did I say communication twice
