Eddie Redmayne's character because he's gone to the bank to try and get a loan for his bakery and he accidentally crashes into him and they exchange suitcases because he has this sample case and Eddie Redmayne's character's got the case with the Fantastic Beasts in it and he then, despite the fact that he's an ordinary person with no magic, gets dragged into the magical world and chaos ensues.

So there were lots of cakes and pastries and doughnuts, which I had to do a show and tell, except I can for the director.

And there was a magical meal when Jacob meets the two girls and they cook dinner and it sort of floats.

I think it was pork chops in a frying pan, but there was a strudel.

So you never really see them eat.

You see them prepare it, and there's a bit of floating where I did the food, and then it gets taken away and scanned.

And there was an apple strudel, which I did an apple strudel for the show and tell, and the director said to me,

can you make it more yeah you know because it's a magical apple strudel because when i did the show i was not aware that this thing was going to be floating of course so i'm like oh i'm going to work out how to make that more and i think i made i like pastry plaits out of the filo pastry to go on the top of it and um little apple roses so this thing floated

So that was fun.

What exactly is a Charmantel?

If there's a particular prop or a particular scene that the director wants to know what the food is going to look like, you will make it and you will bring it to whatever studio shooting in, Leavesden.

And the props do this all the time.

There's a watch or there's a significant prop, there's a dagger or something that the actor's going to use and they'll have various different props.

possibilities for the director to choose, and he goes, oh, I like that dagger, or I think you should have that watch, or that phone.

Or that wedding cake.

Yes, exactly.

So you'll do a cake, and they'll go, could it be three tiers?

Could it have icing this way?

Could it be, you know, could it be this?

Could it be, yeah.
