And I think that the shift and the cultural shift that moved from saying it's horrible to be working with any of these departments, to we have to build for deterrence happened so quickly in Silicon Valley.

I'm not even sure that the people realized.

sort of the the sea change, the 180 C change that happened.

So um I I think that is what's really, really exciting about these these technologies is you have people who are able to build them.

They they've gone to the school of Elon Musk, but now there's investors, now there are people who are saying this is actually really important uh for the national interest, for for America's security, um, and the Turrence is really the important part about it.

Well, I mean, I'd say that that things have changed and that, you know, if if we're if we're focused on a space war, that's very different.

Um, but I do think that, you know, there was there was a long period of history um in Silicon Valley.

Uh Palmer talks a lot about this where he says, you know, people thought it was the end of history.

That we are not going to ever see another, you know, live war.

We're not gonna see a land war in Europe.

That would never happen.

And so you had people who said, okay, we should only be focused on on software, we should only be focused on consumer technology.

And it's actually wrong.

Not only should we not be focused from an investment perspective, but it's wrong to be focused on supporting the national interest or supporting defense.

And I think if if what happened in Ukraine teaches us anything, it's that we have to defend our allies.

We have to support um not only the

the US interests, but the things that that you know that that are that are happening around the world and and that the the US government says we have to, and we have to have a defense industrial base that is already built.

I think one of the things that the um you know the current Secretary of War talks a lot about and previous ones have as well, is that if you stop building for it, it it becomes depleted.

Um so if you have fifteen years where everyone says, Oh, we're not going to build this or we're or the best engineers are not going to go into

the these companies, then it it ultimately leads to a decay.
