When we came back from that weekend, there was a calmness about him and he was very reasonable, very rational.
We talked about what was going to happen.
We were looking at ways of being able to repay this money.

All I wanted was time.

I thought it was relief that he was relieved that it was all now out in the open and we were just going to deal with it.
So I had five weeks off over the summer, and this was about halfway through that.
So nobody had to get up the next morning.
The most that was going to happen, I suppose, was that Owen was supposed to go to golf camp.
So they went off at about six, half six in the evening.
It probably got to about nine, half nine.
And I had tried phoning him because we'd run out of milk.
There was no answer.
We're heading for 10 o'clock and I'm like, OK, well, maybe they stopped off to get food.
Maybe they went to McDonald's.
