So I went, how am I going to survive?

So, yeah, I discovered Sainsbury's and realized I could afford to live.

My time in the UK, I loved it.

It was good to be independent.

I came home on most of my holidays.

I think I never ever had one holiday away during those years and was sorry at the end of it because I wasn't at home.

But, you know, so family was important.

Friends were important.

That connection to Val and Killian was always, always there.

I worked there for about a year and then decided I'd come back to Ireland.

So I'd come home the week before Christmas and great time at home.

But going back, so I think I cried from Ballin Killin to Kingston.

because, you know, saying goodbye to everybody the week before Christmas was hard anyway, got to the airport and departures was almost empty and arrivals was thronged.

And I went, okay.

So I got back.

I think I was working the next day, handed my noses in straight away.

They wouldn't take it then because they figured I was just being emotional.

And I was like, right, I'll leave it.

I left it a fortnight and I went, no, this is, I have to go home.

So I came back home.
