You saw a bond there.

From the very beginning, he was hands-on, you know, that in many ways he saw himself in Owen in particular, very much.

And he would have often talked about that, oh yeah, when I was that age, that happened to me, or when I was that age, that's how I felt, you know, in things with Owen growing up.

And so I know he very much identified with Owen in that way.

The girls wouldn't know if I hadn't heard from him.

So three days was fine.

But by day four, if he hadn't responded to me, I was getting a little bit antsy.

And by day five, I'd be angry that he hadn't contacted me because I was there going, you're sitting on a beach.

And I know that there's an internet cafe that you pass by every time you go back to where he was staying.

So I was like, can you not just, you know, just say hello to me?

That's all I need.

I just need to know that you're there.

You're thinking about me.

And I've always said I fell in love with him completely, totally.

You know, we were together there for about three and a half years and he came back to the UK.

I stayed on in Saudi for another couple of years.

He was traveling, I think reliving his youth to a certain extent, but that was always his plan.

I'm not a backpacker, so I had no interest whatsoever in traveling with him.

But I suppose being in Saudi gave me the opportunity to

financially and with the holidays to actually meet him.
