And it is the case with many of the contributors whose names we know that have contributed something of uh unique value to society.
There's a great study by the Getzels.
It's G-O-E-R-T-Z-E-L-S.
The I don't exactly know how to pronounce it, but I love their book called Cradles of Eminence.
They studied
four hundred eminent creators who lived in the twentieth century.
And they found that well, how many what percent of them would you guess would have school major school issues of the most eminent people of the twentieth century?
it's a huge problem.
And even as much as we know about creativity, about learning and best practices and what we know, even with what we know, there's still this major problem.
And I think it's actually getting worse.
I would agree and I believe that is true with all my experience working with kids, hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of kids.
I think only once seen that not to be the clear case.
Wow.
So my feeling is that anytime we see a kid that's say not doing well in school, our knee-jerk, based on all the research, our knee-jerk reaction as a society should be, oh my gosh, this kid must have an incredible creative strength.
Well, I I believe it because I see that
The minute you can frame and show a true supported paradigm to people that shows that they have strengths, it changes their self-concept and their life trajectory.
And right now I'm working on a project where I'm interviewing
a lot of people that didn't love school, but I'm also trying to prove that if you didn't thrive in school, you're probably exceptionally intelligent.
And the way I find the people is I think of the most creative thinkers that I've come across or that I can contact.
And then I ask them.
