I by the last couple episodes was like.
there's going to be aliens.
Just give me the aliens.

Although I did find in the finale that,
The way that they find the aliens involves somebody treacherously and unwisely climbing up a cliff, which this show loves to be like, let's have everybody get on a carabiner.
And it's going to be fine.
Well, speaking of pedantic space nerds, like I watched this with my husband who is a chemist and who is – it's always a bad sign when he reaches for the remote.
One day they go, this life is not even – it's not carbon-based at all.
It's methane-based.
It's plausible.
And he goes, click.
And I was like, oh, God.
And he was like, methane is made of carbon.
Oh, okay.
Had not considered that crossover, but sure.
Yeah.
I mean, I think there's plenty of room for the glowy aliens to sort of construct a new Ed Baldwin.
