Well, if you see the data, let us know, because I think a lot of people are confused about that.
Now, kind of the trend is moving away from protein and into fiber.
And fiber is,
is really important.
And a lot of Americans or people even around the world don't get enough fiber, do they?
You know, you mentioned colon cancer, and I've been really obsessed with the fact that so many people under the age of 50 are being diagnosed, Dr. Topol, with colon cancer.
And I just read yesterday that the number of people under the age of 50 diagnosed with colon cancer is going to double by 2030.
And I know there are a lot of theories people are talking about, are talking about
microplastics.
They're talking about the microbiome, which is sort of your overall digestive and gut health.
But there are theories about the overprescription of antibiotics.
And, you know, we mentioned protein.
I talked to one doctor
who's looking at these ultra-processed protein bar supplements, food replacement, because she was seeing so many healthy people in their 30s and 40s who were like marathon runners who were being diagnosed with stage 3 and 4 colon cancer.
Oh, and Paula Dunn is asking about alcohol, too, and that's something that people are looking at.
I mean, there are all kinds of theories.
Do you have any idea about why we're seeing this?
Because it is, you know, as someone whose husband died at 42 of colon cancer, it is so distressing to see this.
