Journaling's a big thing for me.
I think it, like, declutters my brain.
I just think I, like all of us, we just overthink everything.
We all create these bullshit scenarios in our head that's not the reality.
Like, okay...
I think as well, like, when I write down, like, the facts on a piece of paper, it outweighs, like, what I'm actually thinking or my train of thought or how my brain's, like, processing this.
It's like, okay, well, that was shit, that's shit, this is what's happened.
And then I find it easier to sort of work my way out of it as opposed to just feeling overwhelmed.
I used to do it first thing at night.
I mean, first thing in the morning.
I've been doing it at night now because I was having a lot of trouble sleeping.
So I think it was kind of just like dumping the shit in my head onto a piece of paper, just like a weird cleansing ritual.
I'm big into breath work.
I feel that's helped me a lot, especially recently.
Just calming my anxiety because when I first got back, I was just feeling very overwhelmed with everything.
And I think overwhelm is one of the hardest emotions to deal with because you don't know where to start.
So it's kind of when you start breaking things down bit by bit, that's when it became a lot easier to handle.
