The hoteliers really talked about analyzing the mentality of the kind of people who stay in these places, which does tend to be
business travelers and people who are relocating.

I mean, these were all people who will probably, you know, are in a stressful and difficult part of their life.
And so it was interesting that the way they had sort of psychoanalyzed them, they felt that these people really need help being, I guess, being happy where they are.

Or in New York, they could get you, you could do stand-up comedy at a comedy club.
I mean, they really were going to great lengths to make sure there was something social and happy for you.

Even if it was just as simple as a cocktail hour, one of the Marriott's brands does free craft, they said free craft beer and organic wine.
So, you know, they put a lot of thought into what may make this kind of traveler happy.
Yeah, that hotel, that was really interesting because they talked to me about that coffee program a lot.
They have Chemex coffee makers in all the rooms, which are considered the ne plus ultra of coffee makers.
It's the absolute snootiest kind of coffee maker.
And they actually give you beans.
And they even had filtered water and sparkling water.
So they...
They definitely are trying to distinguish themselves, make themselves different from what your experience might be if you just rented an apartment somewhere, what your experience might be if you went and got an Airbnb.
They are trying to carve out a unique niche and make it something that people will not just compare apples to apples on price.
