I would like to see Red Crossroads become a trusted resource for the Tolkien fandom, a place where people can visit to discover events, creators, communities, even be a reference for events, event calendars happening, opportunities to get involved.

I don't want to be a replacement for the many, many communities that exist out there.

I want to be the place people can go

the place people can go to discover them.

Yes, it is the Tolkien and Middle Earth Online Artist Exhibition.

It's my first major event being hosted under the ReadCrossers platform, and I am incredibly excited about it.

It was inspired by Becky Dillon, who many in the Tolkien community will know, was amazing at drawing people together and highlighting Tolkien artists and giving them an opportunity to showcase their works.

carry on that torch for her.

And the idea is to create a virtual space where Tolkien artists can showcase their work, where fans can explore it and come together, talk about it, listen to presentations, maybe attend workshops, discover new and well-known Tolkien artists, and just be a focus

for Tolkien artists to come together and show everyone the incredible things they can do and the things they create.

Yes, folks are probably already aware of the incredible Marian Ellis, who is one of my confirmed artists.

Also honored to have a new friend of mine, a platform I've just recently come across called the Atlas of Arda.

He creates...

Maps, he's an incredible cartographer, Kevin McFarland.

You should absolutely look him up.

And he creates these posters with a lot of careful, just chosen symbolism and images in his works.

I also have for my Rings of Power friends, the artist Necroticism, and I have my fellow Nerd of the Rings moderator and king of memes, Higgy Baby.

And I have even more artists who are soon to be confirmed and who are submitting in their works.
