So what you need immediately over the next few years, well, you wouldn't really likely want to accept much volatility.

So then it would be kind of more conservative cash or cash equivalent, because when you need to access it, you don't want it to be at a time that it's dipped.

But if you don't need it for a kind of a medium term, like, you know, three to five, you can accept a little bit more risk.

And again, that longer term piece, you can accept more volatility because you're not going to have to access it or crystallize a loss when it dips in terms of sequencing.

So that's a good way to think about it.

And I think that's one of the amazing things about KiwiSaver is it's teaching us all of these things that we might not

have had exposure to in previous generations.

So I think that's one of the many benefits of KiwiSaver and we're likely already investing if we have it.

And I think that is fantastic.

And I think that some of the principles that apply to that KiwiSaver that makes it great, which is that automation piece, not seeing the money, that is absolutely fantastic and what we can kind of lean into in other areas.

Yeah, yeah, lots of people actually ask me this.

And the trick is history doesn't necessarily dictate what happens next.

So again, kind of caveat that.

Lots of clients will start by, and again, this is when it's really good to speak to a qualified financial advisor.

But if you're in that research phase, a good place that lots of people start is the Sorted website.

And again, you can look at the different KiwiSaver providers as well, just in terms of returns and fees.

And that gives you a really good, useful gauge in terms of what has happened.

Caveat that we're not sure that will happen going forward.

But again, a really good place to start in terms of what you should be expecting.
