Like, this is... You had a year-old child at that stage, I think.
It was eight months or something.
And I had the baby weight.
And, like, the reality is I never had any food education as a young person.
Like, food was rare.
I was hungry most of my childhood.
Once I got my benefits, my welfare, I gorged on food.
And it was bad food.
Bad food, in inverted commas.
Chips every day.
And so I got massive.
And then afterwards, obviously the shame I already carried...
I was like, how am I going to get smaller again?
Because I was smaller before.
So I heard about Weight Watchers, me and my best friend joined Weight Watchers.
And like, you know, it's funny, but it's really sad.
Like I went from then, so I went into Weight Watchers and they taught me how to commodify food and commodify exercise.
Every woman I know knows the calories of like a purple snack, for example, that's the low.
Like we've all been permanently marked by calorie counting.
Most of us have.
