any uh slimming club and i was like amazed by that because most of the people i know at one way or another have tried to shrink their body and most most women i know are not happy with some elements and it might be the lines on their face the size of their lips their eyebrows or the size and shape of their bum
or their belly or whatever it is.
But yeah, and I think we're taught to not like our bodies.
Like we're not born with food noise.
Like a baby is not going, I better not have more of that breast because I'm going to get fat if I eat more milk.
Like we don't, that's taught to us, Brendan.
The critical thought about how much food we're consuming is taught to us.
And the idea of controlling food is taught to us as well.
I think we need to really have conversations about that.
Especially, yeah, I was.
So, like, I wrote about both two births.
I have three sons.
I missed one out, but I don't love him any less, in case he's listening.
But, like, I wrote about two births because I wanted to show, like, the first birth, I absolutely had no idea what was happening in the birth and I wasn't treated very well within the process of the birth.
I was 16.
I wasn't really spoken to and it was really terrifying.
I felt like my body was out of control.
I wrote about the second birth because I actually felt I understood at some points during that what my body, my body was made for.
Not everybody's body is made for, but I had this real strong power of being a woman and being able to birth a child and be in control of it.
