Um I mean it's a chaotic illness and uh there's you know, I'm I'm fortunate in the sense that I have the form of the illness, like many people do, that responds very well to lithium.
And so I've I've been well for a long time, but when I was sick and when I was getting to the point where I was more stable

Fortunately, it was not true very often for me.
I mean, unfortunately, my manias tend to be more on the expansive side of things and and euphoric rather than angry.
But it's an illness that is uh it's very hard to explain.
It's very, very difficult to put into words.
And one of the reasons I really
wrote nothing was the same was that I really felt like I had the advantage of a husband who d just did things almost everything really well in terms of h dealing with a uh with a wife who had a bad illness.
And I mean everybody gets something terrible and everybody gets bad illnesses.
And you know, he of course uh was sick for many years with three different cancers.
So it's not like everybody doesn't have something to contend with.
Mm.
But i he was particularly gracious in dealing with my mood swings and I think that it's important to give examples where people do things really well.
