Like, we just want people to be able to come out and enjoy it.

And, you know, maybe it's because we do have it on weekdays where kids can't come out and watch.

Yeah, and I think too it's because we don't complain about it.

You know, you look at NRL players, you look at AFL players, they're getting paid like hundreds of thousands of dollars to sign a contract.

We don't get to sign a contract that keeps us safe for four years.

If we don't make a team within that year, we don't get the funding.

So it's so cutthroat.

Like if I chose not to swim this year, I'd only have one year carried over from...

uh last year and then i'm on my own so it's such a harsh reality but that's just the way that it works with swimming unfortunately
