So I'm navigating all the tabs trying to find if they had moved it somewhere.

I don't see it anywhere.

So I reach out to the league and the league tells me, yeah, you know, we redesigned the football operations website.

We're actually in the process of migrating the Rooney rule information to a new home somewhere on the NFL site.

They've said it wouldn't be on the football operations site because it doesn't really fit there with the rest of the stuff on that site.

They want to find a new home for it.

But when I asked where that would be and when it would be posted, there was no specifics on that.

They had no information.

Um, maybe it will reappear, but I'm not, I don't know.

I'm not, I'm not sure how likely that is or how soon it will be.

I don't know how to fix the hiring process in the NFL.

It's really a mess in every way that you look at it because when we questioned the league about how the Rooney rule was actually working and if they feel like it's working and if teams were following the spirit of the rule, the answer that the VP who used to be the VP of diversity, Jonathan Bean, what he said was he would rather have something

to require teams to be expanding their mindset than to have nothing at all.

And for it to just be, you know, a free for all with no with no oversight.

And I understand the logic behind that as well.

So it's really hard to say, okay, well, here's what should be happening or what shouldn't be happening.

And you can look at the example you gave with the compensation picks, as well as something that like makes a lot of people uncomfortable around the NFL, particularly like

Particularly the candidates who are of mixed demographics, like I'm thinking, too, of like the Vikings GM hire, Nolan Teasley, who is also of a mixed race background.

Like the candidates who are like that feel like it can make them feel very different.
