declared this is not going to remain in arbitration.
It's going to be in a federal court.
And the letter from this judge was extremely sassy towards the NFL.
It was like, quit stalling, essentially, towards the clubs that are being sued.
And so it seems like unless there is a big settlement that convinces Brian Flores and the few other coaches who are part of the lawsuit to
to end this civil litigation, which is very possible, happens all the time.
Hopefully it won't happen, because I would love to see the discovery on this one, because it's going to be really, really interesting.
But there was a ton of fear.
It was hard to get people to talk.
And I want to give a shout out to Patrick Graham, who is the Steelers defensive coordinator.
Huge shout out to him and Thomas Brown as well, who is a passing game coordinator for the New England Patriots.
Both of them shared about specific experiences that they have had in the hiring process as being part of the Rooney rule.
And it's not easy to do.
It's an extremely brave thing to do to share a very specific story because there is a very real fear that it's going to impact you going forward in your coaching journey.
And both of those coaches are not done and still have big goals ahead of them.
Yeah, and he – so his story is really layered.
It's an extremely complicated story with this hiring process because what happened here is that the day before he comes in for his interview, the Jaguars finally fire their general manager, who at the time there was a lot of reporting that nobody wanted to work with this general manager.
And they had waited and waited and waited, and they didn't make a change.
And then finally, the day before, Patrick Graham is scheduled to come in for his in-person interview, and he was going to be the second minority –
