And what Angie has has shown is that

You know, obviously you w you want and you need money to run a campaign, but still doing those grassroots things that resonate with voters.

And really for me it's been about speaking to the issues that people care about.

People care about the cost of living.

People want to know what policies am I going to implement.

So just uh about two weeks ago I rolled out a plan to eliminate and allow

uh local governments to eliminate or suspend grocery sales taxes if they can absorb it.

I've talked about an affordable housing trust fund statewide.

I've talked about things that are really going to move the needle in this state.

Yeah, but let me tell you this.

My my family goes back at least five generations in Georgia.

We can trace our roots to a plantation in Crawfordville, Georgia.

Uh as we were driving over to the venue today, we passed the Royal Peacock on Auburn Avenue where my mother and father met uh in the 1960s.

Nobody loves America more than we do.

Uh people have to remember we have options and we've chosen to love the country that so many of our ancestors built.

We just want to have a place and a space where all men and women are treated equally.

That's not too much to ask for.
