Now I'm gonna tell you about my weekend, but let me tell you about the thumbnail that we have because that's really important. I don't know if you guys remember. A couple of weeks ago, not even a couple of weeks ago, but it was last week, maybe a week maybe before, I said
Donald Trump From the way he's talking about things, he's gonna potentially get us killed. Like he's gonna get us into a war. I think it was last week, get us into something that. Could be extremely dangerous, could end us, basically. I'm gonna tell the truth. Um and the way he's talking now. We should all be paying attention and it is actually quite frightening. So I'm gonna talk to you about that and other things and also tell you about the weekend. We had a very busy weekend. What did you do? What did you guys do this weekend? Um, I started out in Jacksonville. Wait, I started in New York. And then I went to Jacksonville, and then I went to St. Petersburg, Florida, and then here I am with comedian Cedric the Entertainer.
And of course you guys know Mr. DL Hughley. Boy, that was a time. So Cedric was our special surprise guest. And I always tell you guys, hey, you should see the DL and DL, right? You should see the DL and DL show because it is amazing. And you never know what is going to happen. And there we go. We had we're I mean, we're just in the middle of talking, and then all of a sudden Segurity Entertainer comes on. It was amazing. All right. And so that was this weekend. So, Florida, thank you. That was great. And listen, I'm going to be at the Wexner Center for the Arts in uh and the Mershawn Auditorium in Columbus, Ohio on Friday. And then the Taft Theater in Cincinnati on Saturday. If you want to catch us, that's October 3rd.
That's next weekend. Every single weekend, pretty much. DL and DL. Anything goes. DL and DL, anything goes. Okay. And so uh very busy weekend. Then I flew from Florida. To Atlanta. Now let me tell you something. This is a story because I like to share stories with you. Um, and it was. I was on the plane and we were leaving the Tampa airport and we're taxing, we're taxing, we're just about to hit the gas. You guys know that moment. And then We're like, oh. What is going on? And the pilot gets on and he says, Hey, sorry, we have to go back to the terminal because we're gonna drop off a passenger that needs to get off. And everybody on the plane is like, Oh man, I'm gonna miss my connection. What's going on? What's going on?
So we get back to the gate. And then uh the passenger gets off this guy, he looks kinda solemn, he's wearing a backpack. And uh the passenger gets off the plane and he says, um, the pilot comes on and says, We're sorry about that. But as we were just about to take off. We have a service member on board the plane. He informed the flight attendant that his father had just died. And that he would rather get off the plane and we Uh obliged. And everybody on the plane was like, you know what, that's the right thing to do. They weren't happy about missing their connection, but it, you know, in in that circumstance. So um so I ended up I going to Atlanta after that. And so, excuse me, my thoughts and prayers to that service member, anybody who serviced their country, if you have a a relative that's uh that passed, uh, I think the you know, we should
