And I've no doubt something positive will happen in the future.
Yeah, that's a great point.
It's a bit of a hell's kitchen.
And to be honest with you, I had no intention of doing it whatsoever.
Some of them were going through a bad time about two years after I'd quit.
I was doing what you guys were doing.
Life was easy.
Staying in the best hotels, going to the best stadiums.
You know, life was lovely.
And I met Bob Murray, the chairman at the time, who wanted to meet me about trying to help the foundation to stay strong because the club had been relegated.
There was still three or four months left of the season and they were like on the lowest points ever.
And he wanted to find someone to help the foundation.
And that's why I met him.
I met him in London.
And by the end of the conversation, he said, you know anyone who might buy it?
And Ireland was flying at the time with a thing called the Celtic Tiger.
It was roaring.
And, you know, some people that I knew, some good quality business people liked the idea.
So I put my thinking cap on and I kind of went to football administration school almost.
And I was up to three or four in the morning looking at how this might be done.
