national league structure for young players and our league of ireland as an industry for our top coaches and top players to be part of to make that more important that connection to make the whole journey a stronger one because you know if you think about it the world is football is driven commercially at the top level and we've suffered commercially in that we've uh we've not had if you like the value
that football in the country deserves, transgress into the domestic game.
So we've got to change that.
But it doesn't mean that we forget about grassroots because they're an important part of it.
Because the message when you go to the commercial world is we're a strong unit.
Look what we're doing with academies.
Look what we're doing before people even get to the League of Ireland.
Look at the coaching systems we're putting in, the level of coaches, the standards that we want to raise.
We want to drop that into the whole country.
This is one team from bottom to top.
Now, we've inherited problems along the way, and there's political dynasties that have to be overcome to get there.
But I think the intention is right, and football people are feeling it's the...
it's the correct way to go.
Political parts within that are difficult to come across because they're used to doing things a certain way.
But it's not a struggle.
We thought at first it might be a struggle, but it's actually the journey and the roadmap and it's making progress, we believe, as each day passes.
Well, I hope so, to the last point.
